Firestable™ Insulation Company is a spray polyurethane foam manufacturer with manufacturing facilities in Houston, TX and Essex, CT. Although the Firestable™ name is new to the SPF industry, the executives behind Firestable™ are seasoned veterans in the industry. The executives were the people who invented the Fireshell brand of intumescent coatings prior to selling the brand in 2019.
Firestable™ FS 2.0
Firestable™ FS 2.0 insulating, continuous THERMAL BARRIER is a two component, self-adhering, spray applied, patented sprayfoam system. This system has been formulated to provide up to 5 R per inch, as well as being a code complying Thermal Barrier at 2 ½” or more. This fire safety sprayfoam complies as a ‘single step,’ code compliant, interior building insulation, air barrier, moisture vapor retarder, and exterior water vapor barrier. Firestable™ is revolutionizing the spray foam industry with unprecedented fire protection and doing so without the need for extra equipment or costly coatings.
