DESCRIPTION/APPLICATION

Knauf Sill Sealer is a flexible unfaced fiber glass insulation designed for use between the sill plate and the foundation wall to provide an air infiltration barrier.

SPECIFICATION COMPLIANCE

• ASTM C 665; Type I, Class A
• HH-I-521F ^*; Type I, Class A
  *Federal Specification HH-I-521F has been canceled and replaced by ASTM C 665.

TECHNICAL DATA

Surface Burning Characteristics

• Does not exceed 25 Flame Spread, 50 Smoke Developed when tested in accordance with ASTM E 84.

Microbial Growth (ASTM C 1338)

• Does not support microbial growth.

Water Vapor Sorption (ASTM C 1104)

• Will not absorb moisture.

• Knauf Sill Sealer is packaged in strong, poly sleeves that offer excellent protection from abuse, dust, and moisture.
